Why we packaged almost everything in glass

Certain actives — vitamin C and retinol especially — degrade faster in some plastics due to oxygen and light permeability. Glass, particularly UV-tinted glass, slows that degradation meaningfully.
It's also just more honest packaging: what's inside a glass jar is visible, not hidden behind an opaque plastic tube designed to disguise a half-empty bottle.
The tradeoff is real — glass is heavier to ship and less forgiving if dropped. We decided formula integrity and transparency were worth that tradeoff.
